Dung and his models.

I have known Dung for perhaps 10 years or more dating back to the time that he imported the VQ line. I did help him with several reviews of the models and helped with assembly instructions. Later, he branched off into his own business to make composite models that he is talking to you about. I have flown his DC 3 prototype and the B-26, above, successful. The panel lines and detail are amazing.

I do have his prototype DO 335, but have not had time, or GUTS, to fly his prototype without him here. It is complete and I will include pictures.

The models are slightly heavier than the cheap plastic model, but each one is hand made. I will enclose detailed pictures. Construction is very very good, down to the rivets and panel lines.

I will again show you his ability to paint. WAY beyond me. Check pictures of DO 335.

Dung is a manufacture of the airframe and does not make hardware. The class of customer who would buy this size and category of this type of model is NOT going to be happy with whatever hardware that is put into the kit. These are special people with their own ideas how to finish a model.

I understand fussy customers, and at this class of modeler most are perfectionist. They do have to finish the model for landing gear, power, and controls, but most if not all have their own idea how to do that at this level of modeler. What they save is time to build a tru strong detailed model and forget about rivets, panel lines and the dozens of details. Paint, unless you work that out with Dung, install the running gear, balance and fly.

ARF. Again, at this class of modeler, an ARF is really not practical in my opinion.

Workman ship should not be an issue.

The DC 3 above was the prototype and powered by two 38cc engines. At that time it did not have retracts as it was early in production.

While it is HUGE, take off and flying was very similar to most scale models of this class with NO bad tendencies. Actually it was light and easy to control, particularly as it weighed around 45 pounds.
